Fallacy
The purpose of this website is to help you believe in yourself. One of the issues I had when creating this thing was just how much faith I lacked in myself. I knew that if I was not living up to my full potential then others were in the same situation and needed help. So to help me I need to express my failings so you may learn from my mistakes and shortcomings and not repeat my mistakes.
One of the biggest obstacles I am still facing today is an understanding that money is NOT evil. If we don’t have enough money to meet our needs, than we are more likely to fall into a life of crime or worse – the clutches of government entitlements! Not to say that we will but desperation breeds desperate thoughts and those thoughts can lead to poor judgment. Once you become a member of a government program the politicians own you, all of you. In short you are doomed, Doomed, DOOMED I say. Did I mention you were doomed?
Many of us from the days of our childhood have been taught in the home, church, and school that money is intensely evil and only evil men have a lot of money. This concept is being constantly preached today with the words “the rich don’t pay their fair share.” The problem is it’s a complete lie, class warfare. It is a fallacy, created by political elites and other elitist who believe that they are the only ones capable and worthy of being rich. Hence for decades I have heard “It is God’s will that you remain poor," while the people who are telling me this are insanely rich themselves!
So I finally realized that if God didn’t want us to be rich He wouldn’t have made rich people! People are poor today for one reason and one reason only – they don’t want to be rich!
Today’s politician is using fear to motivate you by telling you that being rich is evil and wrong. Why just look at Rush Limbaugh, he’s rich and totally evil. He is… really? How do you know? Could it be that others are jealous of his success? Could it be the message he delivers is designed to inform you, encourage you, and motivate you to action? Could it be that the Benedict Arnold’s (formerly known as the main stream media) detest his message of self-reliance?
I submit for your consideration that if you learn just one-tenth of self-reliance from Rush you would be extremely well off, maybe not filthy rich (you need at least 75% of self-reliance for that) but you would not be worried about money all the time.
There are other individuals you can learn from to be sure; in fact the library is full of inspiring stories of individuals who went from rags-to-riches. These are individuals who learned what self-reliance meant and they applied the lesson to their own life. And there are thousands of these stories you can indulge in. However, don’t bother to look for stories about individuals who never practice self-reliance, there are none. Still those who have no self-reliance are extremely well known – we call them moderates.
It is an undisputable fact, regardless of what politicians tell you, that Divine Providence wants you to be financially secure. Churches that preach you have to remain poor to be favorable in God’s eyes are misguided and very much uninformed. When you are poor there is no way you can live up to God’s expectations or His plans for you. Just as I have never lived up to my own expectations, despite all the opportunities I have been given, I find that I am suffering for my ignorance now in my later years. I have failed God because I never applied myself to something, anything, worthwhile. I am a walking failure of good intentions. Damn... I sound like a Democrat.
Becoming rich is not an easy task, but it is not impossible either. There are so many opportunities for wealth today their sheer number boggles the mind. So while not impossible there are some laws of the universe you must follow in order to obtain the gift of wealth. And it is a gift because if you don’t follow the laws there is no way in hell you will ever achieve riches.
The laws are simple and unfortunately they are also neutral, that is they work for both good and evil, with evil being a lot like Vegas with you generally losing your shirt. What to know what these laws are? Then travel over to the Motivation page to begin your quest, it’s that little link on the right side of the page there.
It is not evil to be rich, but it is evil to be poor. Maybe that is why politicians want you to be poor, so they can punish you for not worshiping them. Contrary to their own belief system most politicians are false gods, their elitism and their arrogance defies truth and it is you, and me, that pay the price.
You are unique and you are special, because if you really want to be rich there is not a force on this planet, or in this universe that can hold you down or stop you. Just ask Rush Limbaugh.
