No Reason

There is absolutely no reason this country should be in the shape it is, save one: the desire by political entities to reshape the greatest country on earth into their demented idea of what government should be and do.

Why do both parents have to work to make a living? Why are there handouts and not hand-ups? Why are unions allowed to demand and get everything they want while honest working individuals are required to support their every whim?

I'm not going to talk about unions in this post because that subject gets my blood to boiling, but I will say this: the union people, some of them very decent and hard working individuals allow their union leadership to determine and control their life. It's just another form of legal slavery. There is no reason union leadership should have the power they do.

Yet politicians empower their supporters by giving them the fruits of another's labor. It's just another way the current political establishment enforces their desire to enslave the population. And of course the lap-dog main stream media totally supports this action. It's why I don't buy newspapers or watch newscasts anymore.

For over 60 years the population of this country has been "programmed" to believe that only government can solve their problems. Only government can protect them from the evil of capitalism. Only government can ensure that dogs and cats live in harmony and rats (the vermin kind) are equal in stature to a human being. Only government can lead the people to the great utopia of (in)equality and (in)justice while we all sing Kumbaya while worshipping Mother Gaya.

Our current crop of political charlatans speak with silver tongues and they can literally charm the skin off a snake. Government policies are incorporated into our country which destroy jobs, self-esteem, and self-reliance. Today's Government policies are designed to subjugate the masses into thinking that only government can deliver salvation. Glory be to Mother Gaya, and if you disagree then your are evil and blasphemous! Because you disagree you want to dirty the air and poison the water! How dare you challenge the greatest leadership socialism and liberalism has ever seen! You... you... Republican!

I listen to this garbage and think the only thing this current crop of government employees are good for is nothing. Bureaucrats are given so much power to enforce their will on the population and none, none of the accountability. There is no reason this should occur.

I look at the state of affairs this country is now in and wonder, why did we, we the population allow this to happen. The answer is simple, we got busy creating a life and didn't have the time or the desire to hold our leaders accountable. We thought the news media should do that. How wrong we were.

Still with all this negativity there is a silver lining in the dark and foreboding storm clouds. There is an awakening occurring in this country and the powers that currently be are discovering they can't stop this awakening. Individuals are tired of being out of work, tired of not having enough money to buy food, tired of being stepped on and treated like dirt, but most of all tired of government officials, bureaucrats, and politicians treating them like second class citizens.

Americans are the greatest people on the face of the earth because Americans have the power to dream, to build, and to achieve. Americans know we live in the greatest country on earth with freedom from the fear of tyrants. But now we know tyrants are at our gates with the express desire to enslave us. There is no reason we should allow this desire to come to pass for it is we, the individual who possess the greatest weapon of all: The Vote.

And we should never be afraid or intimidated of casting it.
