WHY?
Everywhere I look, everywhere I turn someone, or something wants more money from me. I took a trip to Wal-Mart this morning to buy a few groceries, nothing much mind you, just some milk, eggs and such. When I checked out I could carry all the bags in one hand, total about $36.00.
Well you bought some expensive stuff you say, which I reply I wish. Just the staples of food seem to be increasing more each and every day. And I ask myself why, and the answer is so simple, so very simple.
Everything we do today is driven by politics, whether we like it or not. Political factors prevent this nation from drilling for oil. Hence fuel prices easily exceed $3.00 a gallon. High fuel cost are passed on to the end user, the customer, us in the way of higher prices. There is no reason for us to be paying $3.00+ a gallon for gas, unless the end game is control, control over the masses, us the people.
Millions of people are out of work, some in my family included. Jobs are scarce and far between. In California the situation is critical, in Nevada even worse. Yet politicians continue to tell us all is well when the reality is something far different. Still those of us that have jobs are considered the fortunate and more of our money, what little there is, is being confiscated in the form of higher taxes and fees.
Frustration and despair run wild among those seeking some relief to their financial burden. Unemployment compensation is the answer I hear speak of. Yet unemployment is the beast that prevents one from improving oneself. In the state of California, if you are on unemployment and you want to go back to school you run the risk of losing your unemployment compensation. How's that for motivation? Try to improve yourself and get punished for it. Really smooth. And why is this? Again the desire to control the masses.
The solution, only government can fix the very problem government created. And it is here that I draw the line. We, as a nation, have developed the greatest style of government the world has ever witnessed. The problem is we have elected smooth talking con-artist to run it. These con-artist are more than that, they are dangerous elements to freedom and self-reliance. Once they assume the power that we as a nation has allowed them to have, they take that power and abuse it, they manipulate it to their own ends and desires.
However despite all their efforts to control and manipulate the population these elitist, politicians who consider themselves to be the saviors of the American people, are finding, despite the number of regulations they impose, despite the policies they create, the population is having none of it. The American population is putting up walls and barriers in front of these elitist. The American people are demanding accountability of the elected. And the American people are asking one critical, but powerful question of our leaders: Why are you doing this to us?
This one question is creating a fear among the elected like never before. This one question demands accountability and answers the elected cannot, or refuses to answer. Hence they are scared, scared they will lose the power they are entrusted with. And lose it they should.
So I ask you, why are not doing something to hold your elected official accountable? Why are you sitting on the couch wasting time when you could be planning on how to create a better life for yourself. Why are you not working to improve yourself in these troubling times? Why are you entrusting your future to someone who wants to enslave you?
Self-reliance is the one weapon the elitist cannot fight against. When a person is self-reliant that person is free and a free person is a threat to those which want to create dependency for the masses. Self-reliance is what drives the greatness of this nation so my question to you is: Why are you not working to become self-reliant?
