Intrusion
Why self-improvement and why politics? Think of self-improvement being more towards self-reliance and think of today's politician being more of a slave master.
Today there are more people on some type of government handout than at any other time in our history. In full disclosure I too have some government funds given to me via my military pension. I was active duty for twenty years in the Navy and retired from that job in 1992. I'm going to talk about military issues in another post but right now I want to focus on government intrusion into our lives.
Today the politician wants only one thing: to remain in the halls of power. Be it local, state, or federal the bureaucrat has a burning desire to remain in office and he or she will say and do anything to ensure that event occurs. Why this burning desire? Aside from writing their own pay raises they, the politician has learned that with the post comes the power to control others.
Human nature has a tendency to want to enslave others. It has been this way since the beginning of the human race. The common way of the world is to enslave, control, manipulate, torture, and create fear in the masses. The exception to this rule has been the United States of America.
Our founding fathers knew the evil man can and could do hence they created a system of which no particular branch of government, or single individual had complete control of the nation. They created the Constitution of the United States to ensure this legacy. This little piece of paper has been a thorn in the sides of those who want to control and enslave the nation so of course it must be eliminated. And today's established politicians are going all out to ensure this happens.
Realizing they could not overthrow the nation directly these zealots developed a strategy to ensure our downfall. This is the problem with the Constitution. It is a two-edge sword, it allows the very people who want to destroy the nation the freedom to do so. The only way this attack upon our way of life can fail is if we, as individuals, forbid it. The way we forbid it is realize that we, as individual entities, have the responsibility to rely on ourselves and not government for our lives.
I'm not talking about disasters or emergencies where we help each other, but rather the normal day-to-day existence we all face. When government interferes with our normal everyday existence it has over-stepped the boundaries of it's mandate. Over the course of many decades the strategy has been to slowly put government into our lives in such a way as to make people believe they cannot live without the power of government. Politicians have learned many tricks to do this, the most successful being class warfare. To make you envious of the success others have created for themselves.
Class warfare brings achievement down into the pits of despair. A simple question proves this: When was the last time a poor person gave you a job?
We must rely on the government to save us is the battle cry, but who pays for it? The government is the answer. But where does the government get their money? From the rich comes the reply. And if the rich become poor then what? And there is no answer except one: They stole all the money and they deserve what they get.
Really? How? By working their butts off for what they accomplished? My question is: Why don't you raise yourself up instead of wasting time trying to bring someone else down? Of course I know the answer to that question: Because it is so much easier to destroy than build.
Losers destroy, and politicians are the losers with the power to manipulate. So just remember when you hear the phrase "tax the rich" the only ones who will really pay will be you. Slavery is just around the corner, after all it is the way of the world.
